Wine duty-free allowances are separate from spirits in many countries and are often more generous given wine's lower alcohol content. The UK permits 18 liters of still wine duty-free for personal import. Australia allows 2.25 liters of wine duty-free. Wine is completely prohibited in Saudi Arabia, K. Enforcement in Singapore carries fines from SGD 500 to SGD 10,000 under Customs Act 1960 s.128F, s.130 (typical personal cases are handled as civil infringements).

Leaving Singapore with wine
Wine for personal consumption is freely exportable from Singapore. Destination-country customs rules (personal-import allowances at destination) govern the arrival side. Excise duty is remitted at export for commercial quantities; personal-use quantities do not trigger commercial-export documentation. Duty-free purchases at the departure airport clear at the destination side against the destination's traveller allowance.
Alcohol: 1L spirits AND 1L wine AND 1L beer (total 3L) for travelers who have spent 48+ hours outside Singapore and are not arriving from Malaysia. Travelers from Malaysia or spending less than 48 hours abroad get no alcohol allowance. No tobacco duty-free concession since January 2023 — all tobacco is dutiable. General goods relief: SGD $500 (approx. $370 USD) for 48+ hours, SGD $100 for under 48 hours.
Standard wine allowance typically 2-4L per traveler 18+. Above the allowance, excise + 9% VAT. Declare at Red Channel with purchase receipts.
