Wine duty-free allowances are separate from spirits in many countries and are often more generous given wine's lower alcohol content. The UK permits 18 liters of still wine duty-free for personal import. Australia allows 2.25 liters of wine duty-free. In the reverse direction (taking wine out of Philippines): allowed — Personal wine for own consumption may be exported from Philippines freely; destination-side rules apply on arrival.

Wine for personal consumption is freely exportable from Philippines. Destination-country customs rules govern the arrival side. Excise duty is remitted at export for commercial quantities.
Duty-free: 2L alcohol, 400 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250g tobacco per adult. Balikbayan boxes (large boxes sent by overseas Filipinos) valued at PHP 150,000 (~USD $2,700) or less are exempt from duties and taxes (once per year per sender). Arriving passengers may bring in PHP 10,000 (~USD $175) in general goods duty-free.
