Leaving Thailand with testosterone
Testosterone and other anabolic steroids are controlled substances in most jurisdictions (US Schedule III; UK Class C; equivalents elsewhere) under the Narcotics Act B.E. 2522; Thai FDA export permit framework. Personal-use quantities for legitimate hormone therapy, accompanied by the prescription and doctor's letter, are generally permitted for export from Thailand. Injectable formulations should stay in pharmacy packaging with needles documented. Quantities beyond personal-use supply are treated as trafficking; a Thai FDA export permit for scheduled drugs is required for above-personal quantities.
Carry documentation. Declare proactively at customs.
