Leaving China with consumer drone
Personal consumer drones (DJI Mini/Mavic class) are generally exportable from China as consumer electronics. Higher-performance drones (extended range, heavy payload, thermal imaging) may fall under dual-use export controls (Wassenaar Arrangement implementations). The sharper constraint is destination-side: many countries require registration or permits for drone import and several prohibit it at various times — verify the arrival rule for the same route before travelling. Batteries follow cabin-carriage lithium rules.
Register at the CAAC UAS platform before flying. Beijing and many major cities have extensive no-fly zones.

CAAC UAS regulations
This page covers destination customs rules in China. Whether you can carry consumer drone through security, in carry-on, or in checked baggage depends on airline and screening rules — see air travel rules.
Consumer Drone is classified under Class 9 — Miscellaneous dangerous goods. Cabin and checked-baggage rules apply on top of any destination regulation.
