Saudi Arabia (Hajj/Umrah): religious texts, prayer beads, prayer rugs cleared without declaration; pork-derived items + alcohol + non-Islamic religious paraphernalia prohibited.

Israel/Palestine: religious texts of all faiths cleared without declaration; antique manuscripts (over 100 years) need Antiquities Authority permit on export.

India (Hindu pilgrimage): bring permitted to all-faith ashrams; gold offerings declared on arrival above duty-free allowance (20g men / 40g women).
