Kratom's legal status is highly inconsistent globally. Australia classifies mitragynine as Schedule 9 (prohibited), equivalent to heroin. The UK banned kratom alkaloids under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016. Most EU member states do not approve

Practical advice
Malaysia restricts import of Kratom. Personal-use quantities of sub-threshold-THC hemp CBD may clear with declaration and COA; above-threshold or full-spectrum CBD is treated as a controlled substance. Cannabis flower and plant material is prohibited for cross-border movement globally regardless of domestic legal status.
