Rice
1006
In plain English
This heading covers rice, a type of cereal grain. It is divided into four categories based on how much processing the rice has undergone. The first category includes rice still in its husk, known as paddy or rough rice. The second category consists of husked rice, also called brown rice. The third category contains rice that is semi-milled or wholly milled, regardless of whether it has been polished or glazed. The final category is reserved for broken rice.
